Discussion and possible action regarding the City’s pending application for $24.9million in funding of the Old Smoky Hill River Bridge Replacement Project with Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) 2022 grant funds in response to an email received August 2, 2022 from the United States Department of Transportation requesting confirmation by 5:00 EST, August 3, 2022 of
the availability of additional matching funds or a reduction in project scope such that the Project could be completed if the Project were to receive a $20.1 million RAISE award.
